Tangerine Event Planning & Design is a boutique event & management company specializing in weddings. We are a team of hardworking individuals who take pride in what we do and it shows.
Having worked in the industry for a number of years, we are aware of the enormous costs involved in enlisting the help of a Professional Event Planner and Designer for events such as weddings, charity dinners, proms, conferences, and exhibitions.

Catherine EXECUTIVE COORDINATOR
Catherine Nguyen is Tangerine’s executive coordinator and lead planner. She got started at an early age planning events while still in high school. As a member of her ASB, she helped plan homecomings, proms, fundraisers, etc. This is when she realized she loved and enjoyed planning these special occasions and eventually took an internship for one of the top event planning companies in Southern CA.
Soon after graduating with a degree in public health science from UCIrvine, Catherine still continued to help plan her family and friends’ weddings, sweet 16's and other functions. This is when she realized she needed to start her own event planning company. With several events under her belt, Tangerine Event Planning and Design was born.
Besides Tangerine, Miss Nguyen also runs a non-profit organization called HOPE which serves and caters to those in need as well as help children worldwide break out of the cycle of poverty by providing them with education, meals and healthcare. Find out more about HOPE by clicking here.
Christina EXECUTIVE COORDINATOR
Christina Tran is an energetic creative force who loves to get her hands dirty with all the lace and frills of wedding planning and event styling. Her favorite part of wedding planning is witnessing months of planning come together and seeing the couple truly enjoy the first day of the rest of their lives.
Christina always adds that personal touch that brings a client's vision to life for their special day. When she's not designing or creating ideas for an event, Christina is a full-time pharmacist and loving wife to her husband, Matt.
